Meet the Todd Family

Chris and Kim Todd are from Albertville, Alabama. They were happily farming chickens until the Lord put a call on their lives to go into missions in Lebanon. Since 2012, they have served Christ in both Beirut and Tyre, where they now make their home.

“Chris, how is it that you go from being a chicken farmer in Albertville, Alabama to being a missionary in southern Lebanon?

“You just do what God told you to do. The story goes back a little further than that. I had

always had a love for the Arab language and for culture of Lebanon and Syria, and we were

going on mission trips to Guatemala. Kim and I had actually been there 11 times on mission

trips. And we said, ‘Hey, what do you know? What do you think? Maybe we'd be full time

missionaries?’ And I said, ‘What do you think about going to Beirut, honey?’ And she said,

No, like any sensible person would. So we prayed about it for a couple of years, and the Lord

really brought us to the same place. I had been a pastor in the Marshall Baptist Association,

and I knew a lot of pastors in Marshall County, so when we got the go ahead from the Lord,

and Kim said, Yes. And I said, Yes, I called all of my buddies and say ‘Hey I'm coming to

preach at your church, give me the date,’ and we raised our funds in four and a half months

which is just unheard of to raise your support of that quickly but the Lord was with us and

gave us everything we needed to go.”

Mission History

Chris and Kim Todd were serving the Lord in Marshall County, Alabama when, in 2012 they heard the call to serve Him in Beirut, Lebanon where they planted churches and preached the Gospel.
